For avid skiers or those wanting to learn, it doesn't get any better than this!
Spend the day on top of the world skiing the Continental Divide on the Montana-Idaho border. Whether your pleasure is downhill or cross-country, only 30 minutes from the ranch, skiers will enjoy rural western 'cowboy' skiing in the Northern Rockies. For Alpine skiing and snowboarding, Lost Trail Powder Mountan Ski Resort offers 50+ runs, summit elevation of 8,200 ft., base elevation of 6,400 ft., a vertical drop of 1,800 ft. and an average snowfall of 300 inches per year. Known for its 'lifts without lines' and daily fresh powder, you will not be disappointed with "Montana's Greatest Snow Place". Our season begins the 21st of December through the end of February (conditions permitting). Lifts operate 'powder Thursday' through Sunday and daily throughout the holidays. Extended holiday hours include Martin Luther King Day and Presidents Day. Full ski and snowboard equipment rentals are available as well as Demo's and group or private lessons. Lost Trail opens at 9:30am and closes at 4:00pm.
Cross-country skiing is available daily throughout the snowy season at historic Chief Joseph Pass on the Montana-Idaho border. A stay at our luxurious all-inclusive ranch means we offer chauffeured transportation while you enjoy your favorite warm beverage and freshly baked cookies to and from the mountain. Lost Trail lift tickets and equipment rentals are included for your entire stay. All cross-country skiing equipment is available at Triple Creek Ranch along with trail maps and a never-ending supply of groomed trails in close proximity.
