Summer Trout Fly Fishing & Spin Casting

Rawhide Outfitters guides specialize in drift and wade fly fishing, dry or wet fly fishing and/or spin casting, depending on personal preference.  Experienced or novice, our guides can explain any technique or strategy needed to catch a fish.  You will drift through a very beautiful section of the Salmon River, stopping to wade occasional good runs.  Catch & release is encouraged with an average of 20 - 40 fish per day, ranging from 12" - 18" rainbow and cuttroat trout.  Many Rawhide Outfitters clients are surprised and comment on the low amount of fisherman, quality of fishing and beauty of the river.  A fisherman size hot lunch will be prepared for you.  You will drive to North Fork, Idaho, a scenic one hour and fifteen minute trip from the ranch to meet your guide.  Complimentary rain gear and wading equipment is available from Triple Creek Ranch.  Availability is somewhat flexible with as little as a days notice, though we recommend you reserve your trip(s) ahead of time to ensure a guide on your preferred day.

Guided fishing cost $360 for 1 - 2 people per boat.  Cancellation within 30 days is full price.  Rates do not include a 6% Idaho sales tax and 3% Forest Service User fee.

An Idaho fishing license ($12.75 for 1 day) is required.
